2

Why

One cause per number that moved, never more than three.

2.1Three causes

  1. 1. Closes rose on content

Content closed 12 against 7 the week before. Paid ads went the other way, 7 to 5: the source with the weakest show rate in the funnel.

See it in the Funnel Dashboard
  2. 2. Partner approvals trail the closes, as they should

Of 36 founders closed this week, the partners show 27 approved, 7 pending and 2 not reported yet. Pending is normal until the lock date; it only matters if it is still pending at the month close.

See it in the Revenue Truth Check
  3. 3. Two closes lost their Sub ID

On Monday 21 and Saturday 26. The partners still reported both, so they were paired by partner and time, by hand. Each one is a red on the next morning's health check.

What we change

Three actions, each with one owner, one date and the number that says it worked.

3.1This week

  1. 1. Start the test “A reason to come in every reminder” for paid ads and content

    Owner
    Marketing ops
    Due
    Wed 30 Sep
    Worked if
Show rate, for calls booked from this source
  2. 2. Turn on the check that carries the Sub ID onto every new deal

    Owner
    RevOps
    Due
    Fri 2 Oct
    Worked if
Closes without a Sub ID next week: 0
  3. 3. Recheck the 7 pending commissions before counting September

    Owner
    RevOps
    Due
    Thu 1 Oct
    Worked if
Pending at the month close, by partner

3.2Last week's actions

  • Done

    Merge the 2 duplicate deals

    Both linked to their originals.

  • Waiting

Ask the partners why 3 commissions were reversed

Asked on Tuesday; no reason given yet.

  • Carried over

Find the Sub ID for the close with no partner record

Still no partner record: goes to the month close as a possible test deal.

Thirty minutes, every Monday

The page is ready before the meeting, so the meeting is about decisions.

4.1The agenda

  1. Five minutes: the six numbers, against last week.
  2. Ten minutes: why, one cause per number that moved.
  3. Ten minutes: what we change, each with one owner and one date.
  4. Five minutes: last week's actions, done or not, and why.

Nobody rebuilds these numbers by hand: they come from the same data as the dashboards. That task sits fourth in the Automate-it-twice Backlog.
